Women's Ministry

Equipping Women to Maturity in Christ

Why We Do What We Do

CBC Womens Conf 8.20.16 (82 of 161)The Calvary Bible Church Women’s Ministry exists to equip women to live to the glory of God, in their God-given roles. We desire that every woman grow in knowledge, faith, love and obedience to Christ so that she might enjoy a deep and abiding relationship with him. We do this through Bible study, discipleship, prayer, fellowship and proclaiming the gospel, all to the end that we might behold the glory of the Lord as we are being transformed into the same image.

Whether you are a new believer or a more mature Christian, we would love to have you join us. If you are interested in learning about having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ or just want to talk with someone, please contact us.

Here Are Some Ways To Connect

Weekly Bible Studies- We meet together to study and apply God's Word. Along with this comes mutual accountability, discipleship, fellowship, and prayer. We offer Bible Studies during the working day (with childcare provided), as well as in the evenings. Our MOMs Bible Study also encourages younger women in their Titus 2 roles through the model of older women and in discipleship relationships. Contact us to get more information about when we meet or visit our Event page.

Retreat & Conference- We have an annual Spring Retreat called "Reflections" usually in April, where we gather off-site for a focused time of fellowship and to encourage personal and corporate devotions. The goal of the Women’s Retreat is to encourage fellowship among our church body. With that in mind, this retreat is only open to CBC members and regular attendees, ages 16 and up. No nursing babies. However, all ladies are welcome to our annual Summer Conference and Christmas Friendship Tea. Our summer conference in August is focused on time in the Word, where we invite a guest speaker to teach on a particular topic.

Christmas Tea- We have an annual tea for the progress of the gospel, typically on the first Saturday in December. We invite a fellow believer to testify of the work of Christ in her life.

Corporate Prayer- These intimate times of prayer in host homes, called Ignite, focus on specific areas of prayer (ie. Our Government, Our Missionaries, Our Church Body). We gather together to sing, read Scripture, and then lift up our prayers before the throne of God.
